 CATASTROPHE --- The coming nightmare for Global Climate destruction

Such was the "Fear Campaign" that emanated from a single source that grew globally in a fast rate of determinant factors that the average person could not keep up with such dire predictions. 

The prediction of an Oil crisis in the 1960's where Oil would be used up due to over use & thus Govts introduced New & Higher Taxes to reduce Public consumption & the price skyrocketed. 

The 1970's brought the vision of an impending Ice Age in ten years time where taxes were raised to fund research into this prediction of Freezing Future for the Planet. 

Strangely, the next "Prediction" was centred around "Acid Rain" in the 1980's with the premise that Food would become scarce to due crop destruction within a ten year circle. Part of the solution was Tax levy to fund such research as to find potential alternatives. This was considered another "Environmental Threat". 

As if that was not bad enough -- another 10 year prediction emerged in the 1990's around the new complex of "Ozone Layer" caused by man made gases. Taxes and Govt Legislation were instigated to combat this scourge. 

To garner further Public Attention in the 1970's, the revamping of the UN was the impending Ice Age Warning that demanded urgent research into how Countries together could find a way mitigation & thus a new round of taxes and donations was developed. So was borne = The 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm
